are presented on Monday, 1 August, Permanent Intervention Teams (EIP) Firemen Beja Volunteers. One of the EIPs enters operational service on that day. The Corporation has a GPB dating from 2003.
Firefighters Beja Volunteers (BVBeja) have two EIPs, made up of five operators each, the financial component is supported in equal parts, 50% each, by the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) and by the Municipality of Beja (CMB).
The first EIP went into operation on the day 5 May 2019 and the second will enter service from the next day 1 August.
BVBeja is the only corporation south of the Tagus that has since 5 April 2003, of a permanent group of firefighters (GPB), with the operational characteristics of the IPEs, but with a different form of financing. The GPB was created in the last term of Carreira Marques, as president of the municipality of Bejense, continuing the payment of the same to be made by the City Hall within the value of 10.000 euros that are transferred monthly from the Municipality to BVBeja.
The invitation to present the IPEs came from the Beja Chamber and takes place from the 11,30 hours of next Monday at the Fire Brigade Building.
