Beja: District firefighters in combating the country's Center Fire.
The District Command Relief Operations (CDOS) Beja shifted Reinforcing Group to Combat Forest Fires, to assist in fighting fires that are registered in the Central region. The group arrived just passed the 11,00 hours.
In the fight to rural fires, It was designed in 21 July, by 04H00, with the mission of fighting rural fires, 1 (a) Group reinforcement for Fighting Forest Fires (GRIF), in order to strengthen the fight device in the theater of operations Founded | Vila de Rei | withe Castle.
The GRIF is headed by the Commander of 2 Alvito Fire Department and integrates: two tactical command vehicles, four combat vehicles, two vehicles of combat support and a rescue ambulance, in total 9 vehicles and 30 firefighters, of Aljustrel Fire Stations, Alvito, Canyons, Ferreira do Alentejo, Moura, Ourique, Serpa.
These operations will be rendered tomorrow in the morning, moving by bus provided by the Municipality of Ourique, passing the GRIF to be headed by the Commander Ourique CB that becomes part, in addition to the CB operational mentioned, also operating the Mértola Fire Department.
