Beja: Chamber warns of interdiction of the Five Réis River Park.


The municipality of Beja warns the population that the space is prohibited for public use and that any accident that occurs is the individual responsibility. Violations by citizens are punishable by fines.

The Municipality of Beja issued a statement informing that “the River Park of Cinco Reis is a construction site, delivered to the contractor “Vibeiras S.A.” and in that condition it will remain until 20 July 2020, inclusive”.

The space is forbidden to public use since they move even in the sandy area, weekends included, heavy vehicles transporting various materials to the Fluvial Park.

Otherwise, there is still no space cleaning and sanitization, delimitation of the bathing area, lifeguard, posting of analyzes made to water quality by APA, bar support, diverse signage, opening of car parks and other equipment that will be made available in due course.

We also clarify that the contractor can use the assistance of the authorities to remove any people from the work area, conveniently flagged but systematically ignored or violated by some of the visitors to the work space. Violation of the workspace is punishable by infraction if the authorities decide to prepare a news report.

The Municipality of Beja clarifies that any accident that occurs, in or out of water, in the area under construction and that is the entire Park, is the individual responsibility until the opening of the same.

The River Park will be open to the public on Friday, day 24 July, remaining available for safe use by all, this being the date from which you can, and must, be frequented and visited.
