The Municipality of Beja, in conjunction with the Association of Commerce, Services and Beja District Tourism, is promoting the Christmas campaign, with a view to promoting and boosting local trade.
‘IT'S CHRISTMAS IN BEJA’ signs this initiative, which covers a range of entertainment activities and encourages Christmas shopping to be carried out in traditional shops, Beja (www.enatalembeja.pt).
To 8 January, street entertainment activities are planned, as well as other proposals adapted to the atypical and uncertain times that live, respecting safety standards, imposed by DGS.
So, the already traditional Christmas Market will return to the city center, on the weekend of 11 and 12 December 2021, in order to guarantee the realization of an initiative that has contributed a lot to promote trade and local producers.
on wednesday afternoon, of 8 of December, the Municipality of Beja, re-decorated the main commercial arteries, with Christmas-time lighting.
To facilitate Christmas shopping in the historic center, the Municipality of Beja provides 3 hours/day of free parking in the covered car parks of Casa da Cultura and Av.. Miguel Fernandes, during normal operating period, of 1/12/2021 a 8/01/2022 (2th to Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm), with the following exceptions: days 8,11,12 (Christmas Market) it is day 18 – last Saturday before Christmas - 9:00 am to 8:00 pm; and in the days 24 and 31 December from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Municipality of Beja also offers 1 free hour to users of the iParque Mobile surface parking payment application 1/12/2021 a 8/01/2022.
The Bejense municipality, invites residents to do their Christmas shopping, in traditional commerce, at a time when it particularly lacks the contribution of all, enabling them to qualify for various awards, who will go to draw, on 8 January 2022.
