Beja: City Council strengthens the coverage of the WiFi network.
The City Council has strengthened the coverage of WiFi network and proceeded to correct some anomalies coming from the past, such as the operation of the WiFi network in the Municipal Library, one of the most popular buildings by residents.

The places where the network is in operation are as follows: Largo de S. John (Cineteatro area surrounding the Pax Julia), Largo Lidador, Republic square, Largo Nossa Senhora da Conceição (the area surrounding the Beja Regional Museum), Mértola doors (Captain Rua João Francisco de Sousa and part of Mértola Street), Castle, Public garden, Park Vista Alegre, Mouraria, Campsite, City Park and Sports Club Bejense.
The network is already being gradually put into operation, sendo que o projecto e implementação surge no seguimento de uma candidatura que a Câmara Municipal de Beja submeteu Linha de Apoio Disponibilização de Redes Wi-Fi, implemented by the Government through the Tourism of Portugal. The project represents a total investment of 70724,00, and the support provided by funding 45.000 euros.
