Beja: elderly couple who died in screening cremated in Ferreira do Alentejo.
Eugene Palma, of 78 years and Agostina Lucas, of 74 year old, the couple who died last Saturday in a screening four kilometers from Beja, were cremated today in Ferreira do Alentejo Cemetery.
The man was vice president of the direction of the Volunteer Fire Department Algueirão-Mem Martins, in the municipality of Sintra, where the couple resided.
The accident occurred at about 17,20 hours on the highway 260, when the couple returned from Vila Nova de São Bento, Serpa county, birthplace of the man and had as destination Algueirao.
