Beja municipal holiday celebrations start this Wednesday, in Park City, with a concert by Sara Correia, by 22h00, followed by a tribute to Coldplay with the band Hotplay.
The Municipal Holiday, 18 May, is marked by a sporty morning, proceeding with the ceremony of delivery of municipal medals scheduled for 10:30 am, no Pax Julia.
This year, Beja City Council awards the Social Merit Medal to the Coronel Sousa Tavares Children's Center and the Social and Parish Center of Nossa Senhora da Luz and the Sports Merit Medal to Francisco José Gaitinha, of the Judo Club of Beja.
Following the Municipal Medal Delivery Session, cerca the 12,30 hours, a plaque unveiling ceremony will take place (na photos) which gives the name of the former mayor of Beja, Jose Manuel Carreira Marques, to City Park, followed by an invitation to enjoy a family afternoon with musical entertainment at Parque da Cidade.
18h00, at the Big Mill, presentation of the creative tourism program Beja Experience promoted by the Municipality of Beja, which brings together a set of workshops and activities developed by the municipality and by private entities that have joined the project.
