Beja: Colonel Tirocinado Nuno Farinha is the second commander of BrigInt.

Colonel Tirocinado Infantry Nuno Manuel Mendes Farinha was born in Évora. It was promoted to the rank of Colonel in 01 January 2015 and before attending the course of general officers, was Commander of Infantry Regiment No. 13 (Vila Real).
It is enabled with a degree in Social and Military Sciences (Infantry) Military Academy, with the Promotion Course Captain of Infantry Training School, with the Promotion Course Superior Officer and the General Staff Course, both of the Institute of Advanced Military Studies.
Throughout his career he has served in various units and army facilities and the Armed Forces, notably Infantry Regiment 3 (RI 3), the headquarters of the Southern Military Region (QG RMS), the General Staff of the Army (EME), at the Institute of Advanced Military Studies (iaem), at the Institute of Military Higher Studies (IESM), the Doctrine Directorate of Education Command and Army Doctrine (DD/CID), in Command of the Land Forces and, more recently, the Office of the Chief of Armed Forces General Staff (GabCEMGFA), where he played the Personal Adviser function.
Served three missions outside the national territory. The first in 1995/96 as Operations Officer and 2nd Commander of the Logistics Company 6 of UNAVEM III in Angola; to second, in 2000, Official as logistics Grouping set ALPHA / BLI / SFOR II in BiH and third, in 2012, that ISAF, Afghanistan, where he joined the Military Advisor Team of the 4th National Contingent, as Advisor.
