In the operation "Senior Census 2018", a GNR, signaled 45 563 older people living alone and / or isolated, or vulnerable, because of their physical condition, psychological, or else you can put your security in question. District of Beja were flagged 3.715 seniors, less 131 than in the previous year, where GNR signaled 3.846.

The GNR continue, throughout the year 2019, to follow the signposted elderly, through regular visits to their homes, in order to carry out more awareness-raising and make the safety assessment.
