The collision between a motorcycle and a light passenger vehicle caused two serious injuries.
The accident occurred at about 08,20 hours, on Avenida Comandante Ramiro Correia, in Beja, at the back of José Joaquim Fernandes Hospital and involved a motorcycle, where a couple traveled, who suffered very serious injuries and a passenger vehicle, whose driver was assisted on the spot and refused transportation to the hospital.
According it was possible to ascertain on the spot, the two vehicles were traveling in the same direction, between the intersection roundabout with Rua de Lisboa, near the cemetery, the light passenger vehicle was preparing to turn left, in the cross section that gives access to the hospital, when he was rammed in the rear by the motorcycle.
Everything points out that the motorcycle driver, where the couple traveled, he will not have noticed the change of direction of the passenger car and he collided with the car that was projected against the sidewalk.
The couple traveling on the motorcycle suffered very serious injuries and were transported to the Emergency Department at Hospital José Joaquim Fernandes. Motorcycle driver's helmet, got out of his head and ended up several meters away.
