Beja: EMAS has “The history of our water” , environmental awareness project.
"The history of our water" is the working theme of environmental awareness project "Heroes of Water", sponsored by EMAS Beja, for the school year 2015/2016.
The road show of the “EMAS in schools” initiative, started at the Santiago Maior School Center in Beja, with a session aimed at the 1st cycle. This year, the playful-didactic sessions will address developments in water collection techniques, since our ancestors, to modern nowadays supply systems.
So, intended to be obtained from the new, transmit that access to drinking water and quality was not always an easy process, as we know it today, just by turning on a faucet.
This different approach, properly framed in the project performance pillars, aims simultaneously, instill a change of habits and good practice in the school community, in defense of water resources.
Another of this year's novelties, is the challenge launched to schools entitled the “Big Idea”, which aims to stimulate the creativity of young people around the theme of water.
