A Terra Treme 2022, Public Seismic Risk Awareness Exercise, promoted by ANEPC. Municipality of Beja calls for participation.
The National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) promotes the next day 9 November, to 11:09 hours, the 10th Edition of the Public Exercise of National Seismic Risk Awareness, called A TERRA TREME (www.aterratreme.pt<http://www.aterratreme.pt/>), measure provided for in the National Strategy for Preventive Civil Protection.
A TERRA TREME aims to train the population to know how to act in the event of an earthquake., sensitizing the citizen to the fact of living in a risk society, and challenging you to get involved in the process of building safer and more resilient communities.

The City Hall marks the celebrations of the International Day for Disaster Reduction, ephemeris instituted by the United Nations, participating in the public seismic risk awareness exercise, at the Lidador Social Center.
The municipality appeals to all citizens to participate in the exercise “A Terra Treme” on the next day 9 November at 11:09 am at the Lidador Social Center or wherever they are at that time.
The exercise comprises the practice of 3 Simple gestures that can make a difference in the event of an earthquake. Regardless of where they are on that day and at that time, the participants, individually or collectively carry out the 3 self-protective gestures during 1 minute: DOWNLOAD – PROTECT – WAIT
The invitation is extended to the entire educational community, especially to all students and teachers of basic education, sensitizing them to appropriate behaviors in the face of seismic risk.
