Beja: Exercise Hot Blade 2018 runs from 09 and 23 May the BA11.

This multinational exercise comes under the Helicopter Exercise Program, the European Defense Agency (EDA), and will be planned under the aegis of Air Command.

This year involves, in addition to the Air Force and the Army of Portugal, the participation of military forces of Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands and Slovenia, in total 29 aircraft and 1200 Military, which will be established in BA11, in Beja, being your actions planned for the inside center / south of Portugal.

The overall objective of this exercise is to obtain a high level of interoperability between the aircraft of the Member States of the EDA, exposing the crew to a complex operating environment, where they can train procedures and tactics, to provide them form the necessary skills to carry out operations in the current theaters of international conflict and humanitarian support missions.

The missions will take place throughout the country, day and night, no ar, on land and at sea, It is arranged so as not to affect the environment and population.
