The accused, of Moldovan nationality, resident in SĂŁo Matias, county Beja, who attacked his aunt, of 34 year old, in a context of domestic violence, was present yesterday before a Criminal Investigation Judge from the Alentejo city court, for the application of enforcement measures.
According to the PJ, the woman “was violently attacked on the face and neck, having received treatment at Beja hospital”, result of aggression for futile reasons.
Has learned the Lidador News (LN), The attack took place in the early hours of Sunday and the GNR was called to the scene, and given the context of aggression, the case was taken over by the PJ, which ended up arresting the individual.
After being treated at Beja Hospital, she was transported to São José Hospital, in Lisbon, and then returned to the Bejense hospital unit, where she remains hospitalized, under the care of the Surgery Service.
The investigation is led by the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action (DIAP) of Beja and the investigation will continue to be carried out by the Judiciary Police.
