Beja: GNR apprehends stolen vehicles at a workshop in Trigaches.

Four vehicles seized, two stolen and two for tax reasons, in what began as an environmental inspection of a car repair establishment in Trigaches.

An environmental inspection action on a car repair establishment carried out by elements of the Environmental Protection Nucleus (NPA) of the GNR of the Beja Territorial Command (CTBeja) resulted in the seizure of four vehicles, two stolen and two for tax reasons.

The recovery and seizure of the four vehicles was carried out by soldiers from the Territorial Detachment of Beja (DTB) and carried out in a car workshop in the rural parish of Trigaches, in Beja county. During the operation, a quad bike was detected, that had been robbed in Serpa some time ago 11 years and a light passenger vehicle, with Spanish registration that had been subtracted in the neighboring country.

In coordination with the Tax and Customs Authorities of Cuba and Palmela, for tax reasons, another passenger vehicle and a heavy passenger transport vehicle were seized..

The person in charge of the establishment, um Guy 39 year old, was constituted an accused having been subject to the term of identity and residence (TIR), the GNR having remitted the facts to the Judicial Court of Beja.

But the action of the GNR did not stop there, since the environmental inspection to the targeted establishment, resulted in the preparation of four administrative offenses for lack of licensing and incorrect waste treatment.

In addition to the NPA and DTB operations, the GNR engaged soldiers from the Beja Criminal Investigation Nucleus, elements responsible for investigating the thefts of the two seized vehicles.
