Beja: GNR arrested in the district, two people for domestic violence.

Of the twelve people arrested in flagrante delicto, four stand out for driving without legal authorization, three for driving under the influence of alcohol, two for drug trafficking and two for domestic violence.

Arrests are some of the highlights of a set of operations, no district, carried out by the Territorial Command in Beja week 2 a 8 April, which aimed to prevent and combat violent crime, road inspection, among others.

In a statement on the operational activity sent to the wording of Lidador News (LN), GNR also gives account that were seized 35 doses of hashish, five doses of cocaine, a firearm and 41,50 euro cash.

Of traffic control operations and surveillance in general, The following evidence records: 186 detected offenses, especially 15 for driving with alcohol level in blood higher than allowed by law, 12 for speeding, 11 for lack of mandatory periodic inspection, 9 for lack of mandatory liability insurance, 9 related to tachographs and 8 by missing or improper use of safety belts and / or restraint system for children.

As for road accidents, GNR registered ink-seven accidents, highlighting-se: two serious injuries and eight minor injuries. As regards the general control, foram elaborados nove autos de contraordenação, including five under the legislation of protection of nature and the environment and four in the framework of police law.

The GNR also conducted, an awareness action in the campaign “Safety in the Elderly” (prevention scams), having been sensitized 75 seniors.
