The judicial employees of the Civil Court and Central Criminal Court of Beja are on strike, having completely closed all activity in that section.
The employees' protest only led to the postponement of a civil trial whose participants, injured, defendant and lawyers traveled from Lisbon and ended up returning to their place of origin without the session, morning and the one scheduled for the afternoon took place.
Also reading a judgment of a defendant, who is in pre-trial detention for attempted murder in the oven was postponed, not knowing when it will happen.
The Local Civil and Criminal Court and the Public Prosecutor's Office are fully operational.
