The group of citizens “Friends of B.V.Beja”, which was the origin of a fundraising campaign to repair the aforementioned vehicle, issued a statement thanking the community for their collaboration.
After more than a year of inoperation, It will be delivered tomorrow to the Volunteer Firefighters of Beja, the ladder vehicle 30 (VE30) which has undergone system repair and updating, whose cost amounted to 60 thousand euros.
In the document issued, the group “highlights the spirit of collaboration demonstrated by many citizens and companies from North to South of Portugal who collaborated in the fundraising campaign”, expressing satisfaction with “the return to operation of a single vehicle in the district”, justify.
The group recalls that the repair of the VE30, was supported by “15,000 euros from the campaign launched by “Amigos dos B.V.Beja”, to which were added 30.000 euros made available by the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) and 10.000 euros from the Municipality of Beja (CMB), não incluindo o IVA entretanto já recebido pelos bombeiros”, ends.
No comunicado enviado ao Lidador Notícias, os “Amigos dos B.V.Beja” voltam a tornar pública a informação que “a verba final depositada na conta “Bombeiros Voluntários de Beja- Autoescada” (BVB-Autoescada) it was 44.000 euros, 15.000 dos quais foram aplicados na reparação do VE30”, lembrando que os restantes 29.000 euros saíram da conta criada “para o pagamento da aquisição e adaptação de um veículo ligeiro 4×4 destinado ao Comando dos bombeiros, substituindo um jeep que está ao serviço da corporação desde 1999”, conclui o documento.
