Beja: brother homicidal the shotgun shooting, picks up 15 years in prison.
Anaídio Luís, the man in 17 June 2015, killed his brother with a shotgun shot, with zagalote cartouche, wild boar ammunition, was sentenced, in legal height, a 15 years in prison.
The defendant was sentenced to 14 years in prison for a felony aggravated homicide and more 2 years for the crime of possession of a prohibited weapon.
The murderer had come to trial accused of a crime of aggravated homicide which, in the trial phase, became aggravated, but the fact that the Collective of Judges, having considered that it was not "premeditation in the death of the brother" saw the classification of the crime lower to simple.
Anaídio Luís, he lived with his brother in Monte Vale Gomes, em Longueira, county of Odemira, took over during the trial that killed Manuel Luís, but that it was "unintentionally", never clarifying the true motivations for his act.
During the trial and the reading of the judgment, the murderer never faced it head on, Aldina Ramos, the victim's daughter and her niece. After the pronunciation of 15 years in prison the woman left the court in a compulsive cry, not wanting to make statements.
The defendant's defender told LN that she will "analyze the judgment and most likely appeal the sentence", since he had defended a punishment until 5 years in prison.
Analídio was taken to Beja Prison, where on remand, with the same procedural status, until the sentence becomes final.
