Next Thursday, day 09 May, at 09:30, at Praça do Ultramar, in the city of Beja, the Monument in Homage to the Combatants of the Municipality of Beja will be inaugurated.
The ceremony will be presided over by the Mayor of Beja, Dr. Paulo Arsénio and the President of the League of Combatants Lieutenant-General Joaquim Chito Rodrigues and will be attended by the highest civil and military entities in the Beja region.
During the ceremony, will be honored, with commemorative campaign medals, former colonial war fighters.
