The swearing-in of those elected to the Municipal Council and Assembly of Beja will take place on the next day 18 October, in-Pax Julia Teatro Municipal.
A notice signed by Maria da Conceição Guerreiro Casa Nova, as President of the outgoing Municipal Assembly, was made public, which will take place on 18 October 2021, in the auditorium of Pax-Júlia Teatro Municipal, by 11:00 hours, pursuant to the provisions of articles 42, 43º, 44º and 60º by Lei nº 169/99, of 18 of September, in the current newsroom, still in force, the installation of the Municipality of Beja and the Municipal Assembly of Beja.

The PS elected 16 municipal deputies, the CDU managed 13 and the PSD/Coalition obtained 4.

Regarding the Municipality of Beja, this situation took place in 2005, with the same type of composition, but at the time the CDU led the municipality with 3 elements (Francisco Santos, Miguel Ramalho and Francisco Caixinha), the PS also with 3 (Victor Churches, António Bernardo and Manuel Monge) and the PSD got a councilman (John Paul Ramôa). At some point in the term, Manuel Monge, PS councilor moves to CDU and gives majority to communist coalition.
