A couple of 25 year old, foreign nationals, was subject to periodic presentations, after trying to rob an underage girl and threatening several members of the public with a knife.
The case took place on Thursday night, cerca the 23,00 hours, a street of Beja Historical Center, close to the Rainha D.Leonor Museum, when the girl, of 13 year old, getting ready to go home.
After addressing the smallest, she started to scream, ending up attracting the attention of the girl's father who shouted at the individual, which led to him stopping bothering her. At the same time, a group of individuals who were at the end of the street came to help the victim., the suspect threatened people who were trying to restrain him with a knife, until the arrival of the PSP, which had been alerted by the young woman's father.
The PSP ended up arresting the individual and taking him to the police station., place where he refused to cooperate, with regard to the place where he lived. Father and daughter were interviewed yesterday morning.
Present on Friday afternoon to a Criminal Investigation Judge from the Beja Court, was eventually released, subject to the measure of coercion of weekly presentations by the PSP Police Station of Beja.
