The Parish Union of Greater Santiago and S. John the Baptist, remains committed to the cleaning and maintenance of green areas.
The Parish Union of Greater Santiago and S. João Baptista remains committed to cleaning and maintenance of green spaces of the parish, namely, in combating weeds that proliferate the streets and woods of the parish.
Taking into account, which are not applied chemicals, combating herbs has been being carried out with manual weeding, which is, of course, less effective and enduring. We ask so, understanding of the population to this reality.
Celebrations April
As in previous years, celebrations of the 25 April took place in Penedo Gordo, a set of activities, between them : one mountain bike ride, a walk, a mesh tournament and lunch fellowship open to the entire population. The good mood and the spirit of sharing this day marked, with strong adhesion of the population.
