The Spanish couple, linked to livestock, is accused of defamation and injuries to the veterinary services technician. Handcuffed, the individual tried to kick a police officer.
A Spanish couple, entrepreneurs in the livestock sector, did not accept that a technician from the Food and Veterinary Division of Baixo Alentejo (CROWD), based in Beja, had placed two calves in isolation and inside the facility accused the woman of “being corrupt”, "Mafiosa" and that "should be stuck".
The individual also offended PSP agents called to the scene and tried to kick one of them, ending up handcuffed and taken to the police station where the defendant was constituted.
The facts date back to the day 24 August 2018 and were starred by Angel Bohorquez Carreira, of 69 year old, and his wife Clara Sanchez, of 58 year old, nature of Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz), owners of a cattle farm, located in an estate located in the parish of Cabeça Gorda, county Beja.
According to the prosecutor's order (MP) from Beja to which JN had access, that day the couple went to DAV accompanied by their daughter and five other individuals, whose identification has not been verified, and sought to satisfy the technique, ending up provoking contempt and offense, that led the PSP to intervene.
Urged to leave the premises, Angel Bohorquez Carreira refused to obey the orders of law enforcement officers and according to the MP "threw himself to the ground", while uttering the expressions: “The cops are all corrupt, you will all be arrested. I will spend a million euros, but you guys go to jail. Offenders, fuckers, motherfuckers. I know the President of the Republic ”, vociferou.
The defendant was eventually handcuffed, but, still tried to hit a policeman with a kick, then being taken to the police station, where it was accused constituted, place where he again offended police officers.
But the diabrites of the couple did not stop there, since in the research phase, it was not possible to proceed with the constitution of the woman as a defendant, nor proceed to interrogate husband and wife for not being able to notify. The law enforcement officers were unable to access the interior of the property and all postal notifications were eventually returned.
Due to impossibility of notification, the MP did not proceed to interrogation as defendants of Angel and Clara whom he accused of committing an aggravated crime of injury, the defendant is still responsible for an aggravated defamation crime. The couple begins to be judged next Monday by a Collective Court, risking sentence of more than five years in prison.
Another case involving the couple
Angel Bohorquez Carreira was charged with a felony of qualified damage, for the presumed slaughter, between mid 2008 and January 2009, of 110 Alentejo breed of pigs from a neighbor. On trial, held in March 2015, the individual denied the facts and showed documents that he was not in Portugal, with Clara Sanchez taking responsibility for the crime, that I was not accused.
