The three Moroccan citizens arrested during the early hours of Wednesday, will be present again tomorrow before a Criminal Instruction Judge (JIC) of the Judicial Court of the District of Beja, to be subjected to a first interrogation and application of coercive measures.
Individuals, aged 22 and 39 year old, suspects in the theft perpetrated on a Portuguese citizen in one of the main arteries of Beja, including the one who broke the windows of the PSP Police Station, after being detained, return to court tomorrow, since yesterday they were only identified.
At issue is the fact that official lawyers to represent them, since it takes place in the former Civil Government Building, the instruction of the Santander diversion process, involving 18 Defendants, some of which are represented by independent lawyers.
After being identified by the court, and because they are illegal in Portugal, the three defendants were under the custody of the Foreigners and Borders Service, who will present them tomorrow in court.
It is recalled that the three men were arrested following the communication of a robbery perpetrated next to the Parking lot on Avenida Miguel Fernandes, in the center of Beja, in which the suspects approached a Portuguese citizen and faced with threats, they stole the wallet, with money and documents and the victim's cell phone. After the alert given about 03,00 hours, a police patrol went to the place and according to the data transmitted by the man who was the target of the theft, the agents located the three men and proceeded to arrest them.
