Beja: Another user of Mansão de São José died. 12 deaths by covid-19.


The number of deaths from the covid-19 outbreak at the Mansion of São José rose to twelve, in Beja, after the death of an elderly woman from 88 years occurred on Monday at Hospital de Beja.

Source of the Baixo Alentejo Local Health Unit (ULSBA) confirmed to Lidador Notícias that the elderly woman “was the only one infected in the outbreak of the home and was hospitalized in the hospital”, justified.

Com to death by user, the number of women rose to twelve, aged between 81 and 99 year old, who died in the covid-19 outbreak that occurred at the São José Mansion. Eleven of the victims died at Beja Hospital, the first to 20 October and, one perished in a hospital in Lisbon, on 3 November.

With this death he went up to 17 the number of fatalities in three homes in Beja, whereas at 12 of São José Mansion, there have been 4 at the Parish and Social Center of Salvador and one at Lar Nobre Freire, a man of 87 year old, whose death occurred on the day 20 April, and who was the first deadly victim of the covid-19 pandemic in Alentejo.

According to the latest data released by the Public Health Authority (ASP) in the municipality of Beja have already registered 20 deaths, 17 of which occurred in the three homes in the city.
