The Municipality of Beja, proceeded to open, between 1 and 15 November, of applications for the award of Scholarships to young people from needy or large families.
By submitting a specific form, in accordance with the Regulations in force, for the school year 2023/2024, the amount allocated to this educational and social support measure is €50,000.00 (fifty thousand euros), for a maximum number of 50 (fifty) Scholarships.
The award of these grants implies that the household has resided for at least, three years in the municipality of Beja and that the students in question enter or attend higher education establishments in the national territory, to obtain an academic degree of bachelor's or master's degree.
Remember that this measure, implemented in the academic year of 2018/2019, already supported, we last 5 year old, 112 students, totaling the global value of 98 thousand euros.
