Protection Against Fire Risks in Baixo Alentejo. Municipality of Beja received a Forestry Fire Fighting Kit.
The city of Beja, through the Municipal Civil Protection Service received another Forestry Fire Fighting Kit on the day 30 November within the scope of the application “Protection Against Fire Risks in Baixo Alentejo†(ALT20-08-2114-FEDER-000240), promovida sang CIMBAL.
This new acquisition aims to maximize the safety and protection of populations in the municipality, with regard to the risk of fires in rural areas, providing the Municipal Civil Protection Service with yet another essential piece of equipment in the protection of population clusters.
The prevention of rural fires and the rapid response in the first intervention in case of an emerging fire is crucial to the successful extinguishing of any fire, even in adverse weather conditions.
