Beja: In the district were made 4.435 participation in crimes 2014.


The Homeland Security Annual Report (Perhaps) published yesterday, discloses that were made in 2014, 343.768 holdings crimes in Portugal, being district of Beja were made 4.435, less 3,7% than 2013.

GNRePSP_800x800Beja occupies 16th place, among the eighteen districts and two autonomous regions, with respect to the participation of crimes during 2014. Were made 4.435, number of shares less than 2013, where there was 4.406, less 171 interests, which means a variation of less 3,7%.

In crimes against persons, the district occupies a range between 22,6 and 28 cases communicated last year. In crimes against property registered between 43,3 and 55 cases. In crimes against life in society in the district there is the registration 14,9 and 22,2 cases, in the higher range recorded in Portugal. Instead the crimes against the state, the district has one of the lowest among records 1,2 and 1,4 cases.

In violent crime and serious, the Beja district recorded 108 cases among 20.147 which were recorded in Portugal. The figures show that there were fewer 4 records than 2013, in other words, less 3,6 %.

What concerns the domestic violence, the RASI describes the Beja district like that where there was less interest in 2014.

According to the data revealed, were reported last year the PSP and GNR, 272 cases, less 44 cases than in 2013, which means a reduction of 13,92%.

In 2014 in Portugal, were also flagged 182 cases for alleged victims of trafficking in human beings, and in the district of Beja were flagged 17 cases. Most occurred in farms, namely, in olive picking.
