Beja: Eight injured in screening with workers transport van.

Eight people were injured this Wednesday, two of them with gravity, following the detection of a van on an agricultural property that integrates a hotel unit, near Beja. The wounded are six men and two women.

Four slightly injured and two seriously injured were transported to Beja hospital, while the other two slightly injured went to the Basic Emergency Service (SUB) Castro Verde Health Center.

The Authority for Working Conditions (ACT) was contacted to investigate the circumstances in which the personnel transport van was detected.

Source of Relief Operations District Command (CDOS) indicated that the alert was given to 14.25 hours, firefighters from the Beja corporations were mobilized, Ferreira do Alentejo and Castro Verde and an emergency medical and resuscitation vehicle (VMER), besides GNR, in total 20 operational, supported by 10 Car.
