(Update) Beja: Passos Coelho inaugurates 4th fair irrigation block Alqueva (10h30) and Ovibeja (11h30).

The Solemn Session Opening of the 32nd Ovibeja will be held at 11.30 hours and with the presence of Pedro Passos Coelho. Contrary what has been usual, since the opening session occurs in the afternoon, this year, to coincide with the Ovibeja, Prime Minister will also inaugurate one of the irrigation blocks the Development of Multiple Purposes of Alqueva (EFMA).

It is recalled that the Lidador News revealed in 10 April, that Passos Coelho and Asuncion Ridges would be the rulers who were at the opening of the 32nd Ovibeja.
WATER BLOCK FIVE KINGS / TRINITY
Segundo a EDIA, this is an area composed of three blocks Irrigation (Five Reis, Chancuda and Trinidad)benefiting a total area above 5.300 hectares, served by 85 mouths watering and 43 kilometers of pipelines.
This new irrigation area will become operational in the next campaign and like the perimeters already in operation, the volumes of water used will not be charged as this "year zero" is considered the year of testing.
