Beja: Southern Heritage from Friday to Sunday at the Fairs and Exhibitions Park.


The Municipality of Beja promotes another edition of Patrim贸nios do Sul, that will follow from 3 a 6 October 2024 the Fairs and Exhibition Center Beja.

This event celebrates traditions, culture and innovation of Alentejo, reinforcing the Municipality鈥檚 commitment to the development of the territory, through the valorization of material and immaterial heritage, both traditional and innovative.

Patrim贸nios do Sul stands out as a meeting point to support the economic and cultural growth of the region, encouraging local production, the processing and marketing of regional products. At the same time, promotes the creative spirit and entrepreneurship, positioning Beja as a true center of innovation and tradition.

Vinipax and Sul 脿 Mesa: Bringing together more than 40 wine displays and more 300 Brands, This area offers visitors the opportunity to participate in wine tastings and pairings led by An铆bal Coutinho, Vinipax technical director, and attend showcooking sessions with renowned chefs, as Ant贸nio Nobre, Carlos Afonso and Joana Barrios, but also with our local chefs who greatly dignify local gastronomy.

Hunting, Fishing and Nature: For nature enthusiasts, there will be falconry demonstrations, hunting dog trials and an exhibition of hunting species. Interactive activities include virtual shooting, fishing and even archery baptisms.

Beja Educa: A space dedicated to the youngest, that mixes education, fun and discovery, creating an environment where children can learn and explore interactively.

Exhibitions and Crafts: The event will feature several exhibitions, We highlight the photography exhibition commemorating the 10 years of Cante Alentejano as UNESCO Intangible Heritage, We will also have live crafts and other permanent cultural activities.

Music will also be one of the protagonists of this edition. The Southern Heritage poster 2024 will feature big names in music: Delfins (day 3/10, 22h30), Carl茫o (day 4/10, 23h00) and Always Like This (day 5/10, 22h30).
