A Cerimónia Public Journalism Human Rights Awards of Delivery & Integration, It took place in Swing of the Palace Foz Mirrors, with the presence of Minister of Culture, Graça Fonseca, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Teresa Ribeiro, Secretary of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Tiago Antunes, the President of the UNESCO National Commission, José Filipe Moraes Cabral, and the Secretary General of the Presidency of Council of Ministers, David Xavier.

The Journalist Award Human Rights & Integration is an annual joint initiative of the National Commission of UNESCO and the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, which aims to recognize the work of media professionals, nationally, for human rights and fundamental freedoms.

The prize, totaling 10.000 euros, It is awarded to the best work done, the previous year, by media professionals in its various forms - audiovisual media, radio and print. It is also awarded the prize for the best regional press work published or broadcast in a regional and local media agency, regardless of the category to which it belongs.

It is recalled that the journalist Bejense, already this month one of the winners of the first Scholarships for Investigative Journalism of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
