Beja: PJ “visited” yesterday CDOS. National PROCIV gives answers about “visit”.
The Lidador News raised questions about “PJ visit to Beja CDOS. The answers were the national PROCIV “forwarded” for other communications.
Inspectors of the National Anti-Corruption Unit (UNCC) the Judicial Police were, yesterday morning to conduct searches in the District Command Beja Civil Protection, to do searches on the purchase of 70 collars thousand antismoking, acquired under the program “Segura village”.
The Lidador News (LN) revealed the case and by mail placed four issues to CODIS, Lt. Col. Victor Cabrita in order to clarify the situation: 1- Confirms these searches ?, 2- There was concern documents ? If so what kind ?, 3- Sought inspectors know how many collars were received by the PC Beja ? and 4- Someone was made accused ?
In response, national PROCIV referred the press release from the Attorney General's Office (PGR) and the note to the media of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAY).
The RMP indicated that “the scope of an inquiry, directed by the prosecutor of the Central Department of Investigation and Penal Action (DCIAP) whose research is assisted by the Judicial Police, are ongoing home searches eight and forty-six non domiciliary”, realizing that the CDOS Beja was not one of the domiciliary institutions “visited”.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed “conducting investigations of the Public Prosecutor and the Judicial Police in Mai facilities and the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority. It is being provided full cooperation in carrying out such action”.
In the case of CDOS Beja “all collaboration” have been provided since the LN know that a meeting that arose out of the institution was interrupted by the inspectors of the PJ, and was only resumed after the departure of those of the old building of the Civil Government.
