In the document entitled “Clarification on the reasons that motivated the dismissal of the Boards of the IPBeja Schools”, the eight resigned present three items where they justify the reasons for leaving: 1-The School Boards were not heard or called to participate in the structuring documents for the institution's strategy and functioning in the coming years (contrary to the provisions of art.2 4 of the Statutes and in art2 12.2 of the Statutes of the Schools), 2-The President of IPBeja did not promote a dialogue relationship, of participation/collaboration or teamwork with the Boards of Schools and 3-The Presidency made decisions regarding the training offer (which constitutes the central mission of the Institute and of the Schools that compose it), without the participation and/or agreement of the School Boards and with relevant consequences for the maintenance of training, for the operation and/or accreditation of the courses, for the quality of education provided, for the teaching-learning environment and job stability.
Maria de Fátima Carvalho took office as president of the IPBeja in 30 November 2021 and a few months later saw one of the two vice presidents, Rogerio Ferrinho, resign from office, for disagreements with the leader of the presidency, having been replaced by Nuno Loureiro.
