Beja: Literary Prize Joaquim Figueira Master. Delivery jobs to 30 of September.
The ASSESTA - Alentejo Writers Association, with the support of the Alentejo Regional Directorate of Culture and Beja City Council are promoting the first edition of the Literary Prize Joaquim Mestre.
This award is instituted by the ASSESTA in order to promote, protect and value the Portuguese language and identity and cultural diversity of the Alentejo Region, their traditions, encourage Literary Creation in the categories of short story and novel, the taste for reading and the writing and, simultaneously, honor the novelist and short story writer Joaquim Alentejo Master.
This award is organized in partnership with the Regional Directorate of Culture Alentejo, that will ensure the financial amount allocated to the winner, It was signed at the end of 2016 their collaboration agreement, also with the support of the Municipality of Beja.
The deadline for delivery of the original ends on 30 of September, the jury deliberates to 30 November and dissemination of results on a date to announce, but during the month of December.
