As part of the Beja Cidade Limpa project, awareness-raising information is being posted, clarifying and alerting citizens to the correct disposal of waste.
In this way, the Municipality states that it aims to publicize environmentally correct solutions for waste management, namely the collection service for monos and green waste, which is carried out free of charge by the Parish Councils and the Ecocentro de Beja located in the Industrial Park, which receives various types of waste free of charge and which operates from Monday to Saturday with extended opening hours.
The municipality also alerts the population to the prohibition of leaving waste near moloks and recycling bins and the fines foreseen for these incorrect actions.
