Beja: MeteoAlentejo project concludes today resettlement and reformulation of weather station.
The MeteoAlentejo project concludes Thursday the reinstallation process and redesign the weather station Beja.
The equipment was transferred from ESTIG to NERBE and simultaneously tense improvement target was installed last October, however the process just now was completed with the placement and activation of weather webcam that lets you view the time 24 hours in the capital district, similar to what happens to all the other stations of this network!
With this process completed MeteoAlentejo now has all the equipment to operate.
The project mentor is Louis Master, and is a native of Serpa. With 12ºano in science and technology, and being a Weather Watcher Volunteer, certified by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere, MeteoAlentejo started the project in January 2011 Serpa.
Initially the project only had the objective of making the weather in this city Alentejo. Later in 2014, the project has reached a new impetus allowing install in the town of Serpa superior quality equipment and extend this idea to most municipalities in the Alentejo.
This time is created a network 7 stations comprising 5 the High municipalities to Alentejo, this network which is the only of its kind in Portugal.
