Beja: PSP recovered gold and money stolen the elderly
Police officers from the Criminal Investigation (EIC) PSP Beja, recovered on Tuesday pieces in gold, no value 5.000 euros and 2.450 euros in cash.
The theft occurred during the past week-end at the home of an elderly, in Beja, and the individual suspected, of 46 year old, entered the victim's home, by scaling method, taking on the trail was identified by a witness, that denounced the EIC agents.
Questioned and identified by police, out of flagrante delicto, the suspect confessed to the assault and took it sold gold to dealers located outside of Beja, having the PSP made driving a team together of the individual and the material recovered.
When approached by the EIC agents, the man had 2.450 euros in their possession, that were seized.
The individual resides in the Quarries Neighborhood, in Beja, is referenced by the authorities and was released from prison three months ago, where served time for crimes, consisted defendant and waits for the conduct of the investigation in freedom.
