José Ramos-Horta, one of the Timorese resistance leaders, marca presença no III Fórum União de Exportadores (EU) CPLP in Beja to be held on 7, 8 and 9 July.
Jose Manuel Ramos-Horta is a political and Timorese lawyer, He was President of his country 2007 a 2012, having initially been the spokesman of the Timorese resistance in exile during the Indonesian occupation between 1975 and 1999, He was also awarded the Nobel Peace Prize 1996 “the work towards a just and peaceful solution to the conflict in East Timor”.
The presence of Ramos-Horta has further enshrine prestige to a single event in the Alentejo in days 7,8 and 9 July 2016, It is the first day dedicated to wine issues in partnership with the City of Vidigueira and days 8 and 9 dedicated to the Business Lounge where about three hundred companies will present their products and services.
The Third Business Forum has the patronage of His Excellency, or President da República, that will be present still counting on the presence, already confirmed, the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Government officials of all the countries of CPLP, presidents of the business confederations and investment agencies of the Portuguese Speaking Countries, ambassadors, among other personalities, of which highlight the European Commissioner Carlos Coins, the Executive Secretary of CPLP, President of the National Confederation Abdula and EU President CPLP Mario Costa.
