Infantry Regiment 1 (Beja) promotes awareness of action for the cleaning of forest areas and prevent wildfires.
The Portuguese Army will develop tomorrow, day 24 March, between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm, uma atividade de sensibilização nacional para a limpeza de áreas florestais e prevenção de fogos rurais nas freguesias de Cabeça Gorda e Salvada devido ao perigo relacionado com o tipo de vegetação existente nestas freguesias.
The military's RI1 and elements of the Municipality of Beja and parish councils respective support this awareness action.
