Given the exceptional situation of interruption of electricity supply, The Municipality of Beja promoted an emergency meeting with all entities that make up the Municipal Operational Coordination Center.
After evaluating the situation, The Municipality informs that: The schools in the municipality of Beja are closed tomorrow, Tuesday, to ensure that equipment and facilities have not been damaged and also because it will not be possible to provide school meals. Schools reopen on Wednesday morning, 30 April.
The municipality also states that the problems related to the water supply in the county, meanings during the afternoon and household waste collection services are assured;
The City Council appeals to all who: as far as possible, unnecessary displacements are avoided, in order to ensure that fuel will not be lacking for essential activities and to avoid, as far as possible, circulation on the public road at night, for Security reasons;
The information that the municipality has “is that the supply of electricity is gradually being replaced to the country”, justify.
