The objective was to gather winter clothes, and in each of the wardrobes, placed in strategic locations in the Historic Center, in the arcades of the Church of Misericórdia, at Praça da República and Jardim do Bacalhau, you can find all types of clothes, of man, woman and child.
“We have a very harsh winter in the region and we know that there are people with many needs”, revealed to Lidador News (LN), Francisca Guerreiro, yes SCMB, who added that in the wardrobes “there are also many blankets thinking about homeless people. We intend to give them some more comfort”, concluded.
For the person responsible for “Solidarity Wardrobe”, “The initiative has two aspects, taking and bringing back clothes that people no longer use and can be useful to others. We know that the community is supportive and we count on it”, maintained Francisca Guerreiro.
