Suspected of drug trafficking, They were arrested on Tuesday at dawn, a major operation conducted by the Police and Criminal Investigation (EIC) PSP Beja, culminating an investigation that lasted for nine months.

The arrests were based on the fulfillment of 13 search warrants at residences, 1 search warrant commercial establishment and 11 search warrants to motor vehicles and culminated with the seizure of 22.538 doses of hashish, 9 passenger cars, 3 of large displacement, 12.785 euros, 13 mobile phones, weapons, computer and photographic equipment, jewelery and precious metals.

Given the complexity and danger of the suspects, the operation of the EIC had the support of the Special Police Unit (UEP), Intervention by Length (CI) Faro and Lisbon, Special Operations Group (GOE) and Operational Group Cinotécnico (GOC) and various aspects of the PSP Beja, to involve close to a hundred operational.
