Beja: Parishes of Union celebrated International Women's Day.
Parishes union Santiago Major and St. John the Baptist celebrated International Women's Day and remains committed to work on behalf of customers.
The Parish Union of Santiago Major and St. John the Baptist as in previous years, proceeded to the distribution of flowers, in order to mark the date.
Flowers were distributed by the parish schools afetas, including the Polytechnic Institute of Beja and still and the Social Solidarity Institutions. In Penedo Gordo were distributed by entities and local businesses.
Cleaning and maintenance of green areas
The Parishes Union continues every day, carrying out, cleaning jobs of public roads, with grass cutting. This week the jobs are concentrated in the residential area near the Plaza de Toros de Beja.

The Parish Union of Santiago Major and St. John the Baptist proceeded to carry out some improvement interventions and conservation in Mill Park, located Largo Francisco Miguel Duarte not, in Penedo Gordo. Interventions focused on the placement of a new screen / shade network, the painting of the small park snacking, the arrangement and painting of banks, as, there existing the swing repair.
