Beja: Parishes union Salvador and Feira organizes popular Marches.
The Parish Union of Salvador and Feira is involved in various activities on behalf of its customers and will organize the traditional folk Marches.
The popular marches have won a place on the agenda of bejenses. This year is no exception and the day 30 June, on the occasion of St. Peter, Beja will host the parade marches Popular.
2018 It is the year that will mark the leap to the traditional Popular Marches.
The Parish Union of Salvador and Santa Maria invited the Parish Union of Santiago Major and St. John the Baptist to join this event. Challenge that was accepted immediately.
In this sense the gears this year based on two pillars: On the one hand, make the Popular Marches an event the whole city of Beja, thus eliminating the barriers of parishes and integrating the entire city.
On the other hand make the popular marches an inclusive event and in this sense be integrated by Caritas residents, Cercibeja and Beja Center Cerebral Palsy and other associations wishing to embrace the challenge. Registration for open marchers month until the end of March.
Program “Abe”
The Parish Union of Salvador and Feira will join the program “Abe” and for this Executive elements have already been reunited with Dignitude Association.
This pioneering project launched by Dignitude association aims to allow people, in distress, access to medicines they need , in a dignified. The program supports, nationally, 1646 families, or represents 3470 beneficiaries of which about 25 % they are children.
The program relies on a partner network to ensure the solidarity of the drug circuit. Anyone in distress can be referred to the program by local entities, Parish Councils, Municipalities, IPSS and other institutions in the social area.
This will be an important step in social support and health of the neediest, sponsored by the Parish Union of Salvador and Feira and will benefit , this 1st phase, 12 people in need throughout the year 2018.
World Tree Day and Forest and Poetry
It was pointed out the World Tree Day and Forest but also the World Poetry Day. To celebrate the occasion the Parish Union of Salvador and Feira planted trees with the students of School Center of Santa Maria.
The executive Parishes Union awarded prizes to the students who accepted the challenge of creating an allusive poetry to the tree and the forest.
