Beja: XIV International Festival of Comics.
The International Festival of Beja Designed enters this year in its 14th edition, That held between 25 May and 10 June.
The first end-of-week (25, 26 and 27 - sixth, Saturday and Sunday) It will be the most populated. The inauguration will take place day 25 May, Friday, 21h00, in the Cultural. This holiday weekend will be in Beja all authors represented in exhibitions (20 exhibitions).
The core of the Festival returns to the House of Culture. But the Festival spreads over all over the historic city center: Unesco center, Oven Ti Bia Gadelha, Infants of Street Gallery, Site Museum of Sembrano Street, Regional Museum of Beja and Pax Julia - Municipal Theater. Authors will be present to Angola, Brazil, Spain (Basque country), France, Italy, Sweden and Portugal.
In addition to the exhibitions, there will be presentation of projects, conferences, conversations with authors, gathering of urban sketchers, exhibition of documentary (about authors bd), Release of books and fanzines, master classes, workshops, signings, Awards sessions, sale of original art, Guided visits, children's programming, etc., etc.
And, Clear, designed the famous concerts (one strip author designed to draw the music of a band, Live, with projection on a giant screen, In real time). It is important to note that on the nights of 25 and 26 the only Festival closes at 4:00 AM!
Besides this offer there is still room for pubs with food and drink - could not miss - and the Book Market Stall, where several stores will be represented, many authors and over 60 editors!
