It is an operational event, with the participation of 16 Permanent Intervention Teams (15 do Alentejo + 1 guest), and teams from the Beja and Mértola Fire Department are present from the district of Beja.
Along 3 days in Vendas Novas, between today and sunday, will practice a set of operational maneuvers, as well as other group activities.
The populations we serve look to the Firefighters as a guarantor of their safety and protection, which requires permanent availability for the Mission and ever-increasing standards of specialization and operational capacity.
This event aims to improve and perfect the operational capacity of the Firefighters who are part of the Permanent Intervention Teams, so that they have an increasingly qualified and competent response.
But the EIP Challenge has another objective, very important: promote coexistence between IPE elements, to strengthen camaraderie and esprit de corps among firefighters.
