Fat Head (Beja): "4th edition of Silarca - Official Program 3,4 and 5 of March 2017 ".
With a strong cultural commitment in the Gorda groups and Sing Alentejo the Silarca Mushroom Festival anticipates the celebrations of International Women's Day and celebrated in partnership with the Democratic Movement of Women (MDM) the presentation of the study and appropriate documentary entitled "The sing in Female".
The 4th edition of Silarca Mushroom Festival has confirmed about 50 exhibitors in different spaces of the Festival and its surrounding area, with exhibition of products linked to the production of mushrooms, herbs, regional liquors, traditional sweets, embroidery and seams of our land, as well as some regional crafts.
The gastronomy at the table at the festival is one of the most attractive aspects that far exceeds the space intended for this purpose. In addition to the restaurants / pubs that are within the Mycological stall Silarca Mushroom Festival, They joined the festival 9 local restaurants, that these days will count on their menu with snacks and dishes in which silarcas are the special ingredient.
The dynamics of Silarca Mushroom Festival also are the promotion of reflection and debate on the sustainabilities these important natural resources, as well as the promotion of a mycological tour with Silarcas lunch on Biological Park, the presentation of courses on mushroom production in trunks, and two showcookings cooking in the presence of Chief Leopoldo Calhau Garret COFFEE at Teatro Mrs Maria and José de Matos da Quinta Charms Valley Fundão.
In this 4th edition is confirmed the presence of a book fair in partnership with the "Book Route" that will subordinate the theme books, and the Portuguese literature in general and will be attended by various authors.
The street entertainment with the presence of the percussion group of Beja "Drumming and Bombar" and the group "Fashion in Fashion" that will go through some of the streets and cafes of Gorda are new this year.
The collaboration of the Associative Movement organized with various initiatives contribute to a diverse program, participatory and surround, highlighting the role of Paulo Ribeiro and Guests at the Carpe Diem Association and exhibition marionettes, philately on the world mushrooms and traditional wooden toys organized by Jodicus theater group are other attractions of the event.
Musically the bet is in groups of our Alentejo and nationwide, highlighting the role of the Cover's Fagulha Group (Cuba), Jorge Nice (Setúbal), Los Kvkitos (Barreiro), Inês Clean (Moura) and Fashion Group Fashion (Vidigueira / Cuba). In the 4th edition, comedian and actor Bruno Ferreira, will be the ambassador of Silarca Mushroom Festival.
