Cáritas Diocesana de Beja opened in Castelo de Beja, the artistic installation carried out by 10 Homeless People.
The event comes within the scope of the community project “I'm So Close That You Don't See Me” resulting from the holding of 3 artistic expression laboratories (Lab.) which was mentored by Chão Nosso. Crl and which were based on memory narratives (Lab.1), visual narratives – photography (Lab.2) and creative expressions through illustration (Lab.3).
This installation was built around a handful of stories and images shared by 10 people experiencing homelessness, that call us to the urgency of inventing another possible world, more fraternal and more just, where everyone, no exception, have a decent PLACE to LIVE.
The exhibition will be open to the general public, offering during this period some sessions for secondary school audiences, which will be led by mentors and homeless people who participated in this laboratory, seeking to value their skills and raise awareness in society so that they make the invisible visible with gestures and actions of humanism and altruism.
